The Ethos of APDIC is communication and the sharing of knowledge. To that end, APDIC currently has two main channels to achieve this. Firstly, there is the Annual APDIC meeting where representatives of the membership meet to discuss and share experiences over the previous year, through presentation of Annual reports.

Secondly there is the APDIC Round Robin seminar, which is essentially a teaching event designed increase the knowledge and understanding of phase diagrams and thermodynamics amongst the Materials Science community.
